Justice

by Scrittore   Feb 22, 2018

Justice
A promise so often unkept
Judge by those who believe
They understand what they can't
Truth warped
To fit selfish desire
Actions now meaningless
Which came prior
What defense can there be?
What choice is left?
For those that are wronged
By a system designed to protect.

    Scittore,

this piece is a powerful, but subtle take on the subject in hand.
    Very well written
