At Sixty-Eight

(sugar withheld for health and weight)
but life is sweeter even despite it
for the spring still blooms and
children learn to walk and speak.

Larry, I have to say, this warmed my heart reading this. The love you have for your family and the appreciation of life that a younger version of yourself wouldn't necessarily have, shines through like a beacon. Beautiful write.
