Frostbitten Citadel of Woe

by Nick   Mar 28, 2018

Foundation minds it difficult
To alleviate immediate descending fault
A discovery that thieves the very vault
Of treasured emotion within my soul; a full frontal assault.

Splendor of lively quality diminishes,
Mind swept of heartfelt wishes.
As body becomes wintry abhorrence,
Agony imploringly relishes existence.

Within which withering,
Conspiring icy veins sheet together.
Frozen I am, and with it accepting-
Fractures within figure; a ravaging demonic aperture.

I am cast away-
A sufferer within Cocytus.
Forbade from immaculate convey-
Abandoned of past youth.

Isolated, and awaiting naught but truth.
