do the right thing

by donk2ymouth   Apr 12, 2018

the worst part is actually
absolutely almost always
when you are ready to stop
Spinning the gears inside
Your brain- those cars collide
Within the crooked corridors
Of this spiritual slip and slide
The more you know
The more you know
So sit up straight and open wide
For this tablespoon of tabloid taboo
and other similar useful things too
Shut your mouth and swallow
I know it feels wrong
Leaves you chilled to the bone
Stone cold, empty and alone
You know it too; it's just too true
It's really just what you should do

Shut up and swallow this and this and everything that will follow.

Being force-fed religion or media propaganda? This one has a sting in the tail! :-) x
