Father Search Me

Oh Father, I beg of you.
Please, look in my heart and you will see
All I want is to give praise to thee.
I want to write poems and songs
Telling the world how great you are.
I ask you to please grant this wish to me,
Let me be the one to make a difference.
To bring others to You and Your Son Jesus.
Let me be the one to have their writings known,
As a women who worshiped God and sang unto You praises.
Father, I love you! I want the world to know, just how special you
are, and how you’ve helped me grow.
When I felt weak, it was You who carried me.
When the world grew cold, it is Your words that warmed me.
When I feel alone, it’s Your spirit that comforts me.
Through all my years, even when all seamed in despair, I would look
and see You standing there.
You held my hand, guided me through, helped me to find the truth is
in You.
Father, please I ask you again,
To search my heart and remove all evil from me.
