Sittin On The Floor

Sittin on the floor Lookin out the door,
A mother of four With a man no more
Crying out to God Wondering what to do
When the answer came from outta the blue
You got to
Give your life to God so he can ease away your fears
Give your heart to God so he can wipe away your tears
Give your heart to God so he can give all his love
Give your life to God so he can lift your spirit up.
I bowed my head and said a prayer Told the Lord all about my fears
Confessed to God that I know he’s true Accepted His Son as my
Saviour, too.
Took some time I must confess, But now life isn’t such a mess.
Look at my children They are blessed
I thank the Lord That He gave me rest.
I gave my life to God And he eased away my fears
I gave my heart to God And he wiped away my tears
I gave my heart to God Now I feel His holy love.
I gave my life to God Now my Spirit’s lifted up.
