Mom
where are you
I’m afraid to be alone
with the shadow
come back, turn on the light
as before
I’ll cuddle you with a scarf
by the lamp
I’ll read
my poems
silence only moth in the jar
fights for life

    The loss of a person in death is heartbreaking to us all but sometimes even the loss of love and security that came from being with parents can leave someone feeling afraid and alone. Happy New Year Milly x
