Authors note:
Today, we stopped by a river. It was here where we saw this beautiful fish. He stayed for 10 minutes or more, just swimming against the fast current. We, in awe, watched him watching us.

Still pretty neat to see in person, no matter what fish ;) Can't remember the last time I've been fishing so this was a treat to read and I can only imagine the fun and awe in person.

Thanks, Ben. After writing this, I actually discovered it was a Brook trout. Either way, the fish was huge, about 2ft long and absolutely stunning. I took pictures, but they just didn't do justice to this spectacle. :O)

Nonsense! You should have caught it. You can't beat a bit of bbq rainbow trout. I've caught a few fly fishing whilst camping over the years.

    Love this, Michael
