Diminishing in Transcendence

by ddavidd   Mar 22, 2019

As we breezed
hoisting
the sails of our chests
through the path of sunset on the sea
and floated on the glowing mist of our ethereal wings,
as everything was so dreamy,
and the only awakened thing
was an arose sense of loving,

I drifted in my valour
to look how beautiful, she was
fearing I might not be worthy
of being her matching wing.

I realized
that I have been drifting in a faceless aura:
worrying it was not me she loved, no more,
it was only her beauty
that reflect in my un-corroding mirror,
that made us
so resplendent and everlasting
as we braced.

For she was beautiful enough for both of us.
She was beautiful enough
for the whole world
to dissolve all its unsightliness.

Our breeze
was so contagious
that the whole world raised up to dance,
all the jaggedness were healed
-for they were from
a once unbroken pier glass-

all the surfaces immersed
in their unswerving calm,
and all the dimensions
in a fleck
of a fancy.
