Comments : Pause

How is that you describe what is often indescribable? These moments where it's like our bones ache and we can't quite find that peace, that perfected moment of repose, and we just wait.... wait for an action or for time to pass or to feel something different.

Reading this again, I'm reminded of when we "dissociate" and see the world moving and changing around us, seeing the sun in its positions, and we can't pinpoint what we need or how we need to be heard during this "pause."

So thoughtful and lovely in its reminiscence of those little breaks in the day.

    Rania,
such an intriguing piece from you. I was imagining 'sleeping on the edge of a coffee cup' such an interesting analogy, along with the whole poem.
    Nicely penned, M :)

I love this, Rania. My only suggestion would be a single dash instead of a comma after 'I paused for a moment' in line two as a comma doesn't serve up the length of pause I believe you are after. eg, 'I paused for a moment - longer than a moment'.
Anyway, just a suggestion. Well done.
