And now I'm sinking in all the guilt
It was all my fault
I own it and claim it
I carry this burden
Like the heavy cross ,
I drag it and wait for my condemnation.

    This piece captures exactly the mindset of a victim. It is human nature that we torture ourselves over past misdemeanors when clearly we can't change the past. Sometimes its better to let go of the past and try and make the present and future a better place instead. Milly x
