Sapphire Rose

by Nicolette   May 2, 2019

I found myself loitering amidst flowers
And she ambles oh so heavenly refined
Between colouring and watering towers
I let her lead as I walk behind

I found myself faltering between hours
But she handles things so cleverly unfeigned
That I now know the world is ours
This sapphire rose gives me faith in mankind

But this rose is furtive amongst her powers
And yet aware of her state of mind
May nothing vex her cascade showers
So I observe her and let myself unwind.
