Rays of Splendour

by Nicolette   Apr 1, 2017

Furrowed into my bones is pure bliss
Entangled they leave me with every kiss
Yearning for heaven when I look into their eyes
Equivalent to treasure but more than a prize

Unrivaled and more preponderant than Juliet
They are certainly someone I'll never forget
Gaze at them for hours and felicity is conducive
So comely, emitting rays of splendour, it's almost delusive

Amidst all of the world's finest they stand
Oh how I'd amble them through shimmering sand
They are more than fine
So incredibly sublime

Now let me tell you a little secret
Rest assured, you don't have to keep it
This person I have described as divine
Is nobody else's but mine.

A wonderfully descriptive and well rhymed poem. Enjoyed thoroughly.

    All the very best,

It looks like a lot of work went into this one. Nice job.
