However Small

I feel bad
being the only one
that fell out of love
or did i even loved?

I already told myself
I wasn't one
that goes on relationship
cause it just isn't me

It feels bad
when meeting someone
but doesnt feel the same way
like my friends who found they happiness did

They said, its like finding someone they wanna own,
someone meant for them,
someone who completes them
and someone they wanna grow old with

All I met was
a dense clingy guy,
a cheater who unrepent
and a cute guy that flaunt PDA

All I ever want is a reliable guy as I'm pretty dense
I want a guy who won't think I'm mental
I also want a guy who's meant for me
just like all the other who met theirs

Slowly I fell out of conversation
fell out of love
loving someone desperately is
something I don't understand

I also want to experience such feelings
even though I knew it's not always a great day
But they learned and love after each fight
knowing each other and loving as day goes by

As I asked "What if you never met them"
They would have an unbelievable look
Like it never crossed their mind
"I would probably be miserable"

I guess thats how you describe us, who didn't
We also yearn to have such feelings
I wonder if I'll find mine.
I held not a great hope in it.

But it's still hope
no matter how small.

    What I love about this piece of writing is how you have penned this in colours of honesty, almost like you are saying it as you write and how it feels.
    I also like the language you use, which again reads with an open and honest way.
    Some times with poetry we have to sort of step into the shoes of the writer to attain the feeling of their perspective. (if this makes sense).
    A uniquely written piece, so keep writing :)
    I particularly like this verse...

    'As I asked "What if you never met them"
    They would have an unbelievable look
    Like it never crossed their mind
    "I would probably be miserable'

    I wonder what that 'unbelievable look' - looked like! such powerful, but simple language :)

    I think everyone has internal dialogues about love. You look around and see others happy and what might work for them would never work for you. I think when you are comfortable in your own skin and know exactly what you want and what you dont want then it becomes a lot easier to quickly identify people who are not going to be suitable and more importantly those that are. In the meantime you just have to kiss a few frogs to learn what you dont want in your life in order to be able to identify your Prince when he finally turns up. Milly x
