    There is nothing more scary than shadows in the night for an imaginative child or creaky floor boards and as an adult the worst time is after watching a horror movie because even though you know its highly unlikely there is anything likely to jump out and get you there is always that nagging little voice that says but what if..... You have captured the mood perfectly. Milly x

    This was a captivating and suspenseful read but I'm glad it had a happy ending too. I think we have all been through these moments when hearing strange sounds in the night.

    Ah, this poem pulled me in and managed to take me back to the times I was scared of the dolls in the closet. That wasn’t the best feeling but seeing mom helped tremendously. Thank you for sharing.
