A Pony Poem (Limerick)

by Abstract Poet   Aug 31, 2019

There once was a pony called pie
in a field, she always would lie
in the sand, she'd a lookup
see a cloud-like a cup
and imagine she'd drunk it all dry.

It was 2 months ago I had trouble writing a Limerick it was my second tempt trying to write a Limerick and Milly offered to help me to understand this style. So she wrote this poem by taking some of the words from my other poem. I wrote it was called My Little Pony Buttercream Pie Poem I still don't understand how she came up with this but I do like it though.

Well done on this limerick - they're not at all easy to write, what with the rhyme scheme and humour.

    All the best,
