To Love, Again?

by A.M.Jacobsen   Oct 7, 2019

Love has filled the air
Once again, but no one cares
Is it me or is it denial
Should I give this love a trail
Or if I do, would I be tried
For living a lie that I've tried to deny
Being left in the dark had only corrupt
This heart that urns to be loved once again
But crushed by it's past left with no friends
It turns to it's dark hole probably to never be loved again.

Even though you are so young
I can not help but to overcome
These feeling that I haven't felt
In so long it wasn't delt
To feel the way I feel with you
So hopeful, happy, and full of life
Once again my dreaded life
Has been lifted from under its vail
That blackened the past to brighten the future
That I wish to have once more
With someone like you in my course
That life has set, I follow through
Hoping at least to only be with you.
