Awaken

The world is spinning out of control.
What is truth? Nobody knows.
A fog has fallen upon our eyes.
Blinding us of the world's demise.
The government sits idle and takes no blame,
In webs of hate and confusion, they do not tame.
For it is us who suffer, lead like sheep to the slotter.
As we fall into the dark abyss
Lying dormant they wait.
Hoping we do not awake.
For if we see the corruption that exist.
Atop their thrones they will no longer sit.
Bring down the tyranny that stands.
If only we could learn to stand,
Together we could end this spiral.
And reinstate peace, love and balance
But first we must awaken!
