Wrong timing

by Yakari Gabriel   Nov 9, 2019

Anytime we make a plan,
time sits laughing in a corner
so this is not an ode to what used to be
or whatever joke maturity decided
to tell between there and now

I’ve come to understand
that sometimes we meet people
that are a few sizes too big
it’s the universe way of saying
“work your way into fitting in this”
and we’re too young, or too scared
or even too prideful to rise up to the challenge

but if ever,
per chance
or per luck
we end up in the same space
know that inside my heart
there are a set of arms
stretching out you

Really enjoyed this. Very causal, almost like a conversation. Good read

Story of my life at the moment - any time I make a plan, time sits laughing in the corner! Well said!
