Time Travelling Mails

by Broken Nightingale   Nov 24, 2019

Old mails are old stories
In some mails i lived the glory
Line by line, pages and pages
Memories of living the ages

Browsing through is a time travel
Older and older my mind ravels
All the hurt locked in huge barrels
Marked in folders buried with shovels

Letters of a lover, ten years ago
There was so much love, my mails say so
Me in whites , he with a bow
Going in fast lane, never too slow

Click of a button, flip of a page
Years went by, and so did my lover
Words of lies, words of hate
Words of agony , sadness and shame

All days are never the same
I grew up and knew life was a game
I got a job and got what i aimed
Words of joy and happiness prevailed

My current page is all quiet and calm
Its all steady, everything is warm
Travelling through i lost my charm
From a little heartbreak that caused me harm
