The treasure within

The treasure within

When the true value of self
Is sought and called out
No matter how long on shelf
And dirty, it will sprout

I need to comment more on your work, but I've read quite a few and I love the little moments of wisdom in them. Your voice holds a great deal of clarity, even in brevity.

This is a beautiful reminder that even if we feel our soul is "dirty", whether that means unappreciated, worthless, the weight of the world on us, we can and will still grow. No matter the soil, no matter what adversity, no matter what we have done or had done to us.

    Keep writing!

      Poet of the piano,
Many have been the gratitudes that I have given to you,
Yet still this is another one.

      I loved your comment,
      As always.
Such comments of yours are what keep turning the rhymes of poets. Thank you.
      You clarification is really great,
You got the point of this short fixed verse poem.

Even if we're cut, strained, damaged, yes we can atill grow in spring.

I wish i can add a oic to this website,
I make pics for every poem,

Thank you again. Poet of the piano
