On the Rim of Rainbows

by BOB GALLO   Mar 6, 2020

Heaven is gushing out of the firmament,
radiances are raining from skies,
drops are bursting to rainbows,
to blossoms,
to everything colours have to offer.

Spectrums are shimmering
through the rainbows
from the blue crystal chandelier,
through the apparition lenses
that separate heaven and existence,
kissing
to awaken the earth sleeping beauties
transforming
‘still life’ to animation:

pouring
on the wings of butterflies
on the beaks of hummingbirds,
digging in flower for sweet taste,
tying rainbows to wings
transforming from on ecstasy to another
turning tastes to colour,

pouring
on the voices of canaries and nightingales
filling up the pieces to solve the puzzle
of their mating season,

on the gulps of fruits
serenading
every symmetrical lust for life,
pouring the instruments with harmony
and carrions with music,

Pouring
on the gardens
on the contours
on the silken prairies
of these Persian rugs
transposing an orchard to another orchard,

on the inwrought curtains
begrudging the windows
floral,
miming the flowers
from the other sides of the windows,
in the puppeteer world,

pouring
on,
mining through
the womanhood
molding beauty
to fantasy,

on the kittenish skirts
the window-shops
on the silken wings of fashion.
the aquatic aquariums of feminine seas,

on the petals of childhood dreams
on the fantasia of animated menageries
in inquisitive mind of an orphan child
barefoot and full-hearted on the rim of rainbows

on the bridge of freedom
germinating in the eyes of innocence
looking at sky
on the white canvas
of pure heartedness
