So Fair

by BOB GALLO   Mar 27, 2020

When a poet chants
a songster is ensnared
like a marvel decants
from the dewy webs warbles
in every infusing spider plants.

The music is in the air
when the figurines
of your gesture are fair.

Now dear
allow me to share
my composing poesy
beyond these warbling
webs of verbs
from where our being
would ever dare.

Even beyond
the crescent barrette
that the night river
of your raven hair would ever
wear.
