Suicide note

She lifts up the note and her heart starts to sink,
She begins to read, not knowing what to think.

"I'm sorry mom for hurting you,
I'm sorry I made you cry.
I'm sorry for disobeying you, leaving you to wonder why.
I'm sorry for the pain I caused, I'm sorry for the hurt.
I'm sorry I'm not the perfect child, you always wished I were.
But now your hurt is over, you don't need to cry anymore,
I made a terrible mess of my life,
so now I've closed the door.... "
