Sonorous Winds

by Mary   May 16, 2020

Caught like a prey on the teeth of oceans rage, to wreck my life like ocean trash.
It's sonorous winds could not drown out His child's obstreperous cries for help.
In my deepest pain and agony He did not hide His face from me.
But He made me, His beloved child, this promise:
"I will rescue you from the hand of the wicked; I will redeem you from the grasp of the violent."

Note: Jeremiah 15:21 (CEBA) I will rescue you from the hand of the wicked; I will redeem you from the grasp of the violent.
