Seesaw

by BOB GALLO   Jul 14, 2020

See me in the mirror so I find my wings,
Remember me so I shall never forget you.
Love me, so I love you.
Show me a fall
so I become a fountain to you.
::
Stalagmite and stalactite,
tick and tack,
warp and woof,
seesaw in the park,
boat in the water,
two lovers,
a set
of oars!
::
-Everything ripples,
as a hand fan waves,
as the seas, sit and rise,
as accordion opens and closes,
to moan the stretch of her stature.

We
in the penumbra of these throbs
open to one another
in and out.-
::
Inhale my scent
from the crack of these walls
so I won’t crude in the mirrors.
Look at me
so I become eternal in your eyes.
Love me,
so I find my wings

life pivots in two equal distances
to wheel to wave,
we in the penumbra of you and me,
in our wings
mate and elongate.
