I'm your father
Im your guide.
She’s your mother
and your pride.

We’re experienced
thus we know.
You should listen
as you grow.

In one ear
and out the door.
You should listen
so much more.

Not just hear
and then react.
You should listen
full in fact.

Remember wisdom
when it's given.
what better way
to master live'n.

    I really like how you organized your poem and the rhythm it takes on as I read it. I think any parent of teenagers and grown children could really relate to your message here. Lovely poem Randy.
