Interminable junction

by nancy   Sep 1, 2020

I lead a life of grief and pain,
Wherein I have nothing to gain.
Losing people is what I fear so much,
But yet here I stand,at junction as such.
Pain is never easy to take,
But choices are even harder to make
So once again I am willing to take it all,
Because choosing will be a tough call.
Knowing that it is not right for me ,
I still stand here, letting the choices be.
Undecided and bearing the pain I go,
Staying strong before the world that will never know.
I smile through unshed tears,
Because I know that the world never cares.
