Heart Blaze

by Baby Rainbow   Jan 1, 2021

Their final confessions are more than just words,
it is about clarity and closure of a life-long glass-eye mist.
Sometimes your true desire is not to escape their hold,
but to smash their facade into shards of reality,
then hear them admit what they have done.

Uncertain memories pass by,
leaving a lingering doubt of your hidden fate.
What is the difference if you live or die,
have they not won either way?

But somehow, your hope rises in the night,
you learn that you are not looking to be simply perfect again,
but you need to stop the sorrow from devouring you.
Your heart knows that only with time
will you begin seeking more value in yourself,
but a flame ignites within you
which tells you that you are worthy of life!

Their final confessions are more than just words.
but you don't have to hear them to set yourself free.
Don't surrender your life waiting on their conscience to arise,
for that may be forever in the lost valley of their darkness.

Go out there and seize the day,
feel your heart blaze with freedom,
and go and be that somebody
you though you could never be!
