The Garden Waltz

by Maple Tree   Jun 28, 2021

Ivy gazing, as starlight guides
encircling beauty of webbed design
roses adorn a porcelain limb
abandoning moon as sun divides.

Goddess of nature breathes a sigh
capturing angels upon a fingertip mantle-
emerging a lilac dress of coated grandeur
the summering dances around spiraled tulips.

daisies and spider leaves ebb the night
as pearled jasmine engulfs the air-
.
.
.

hush
.
.
.

hush
.
.
.
hushing

the whispering petals
as the garden waltz
pirouettes
with a graceful
goodnight.
