I walk into your room; give you a kiss and a hug
Then out of no where you push me away
I look at you with your eyes full of tears
And I whisper are you okay

You told me to sit down
And we needed to talk
I closed my eyes to fight back the tears
Praying it wasn’t “The Talk”

You started off with then
Things haven’t been going the right way
So I got up
And slowly started to walk away

You grabbed my arm to stop me
And said just listen please
Then you say I love you so much and I don’t to hurt you
So maybe it’s best I leave

Your body was shaking
And I saw the fear in your eyes
I said I love you and always will
Don’t you realize?

I’d go through anything
Just to be with you
Whatever you want
I’ll do it just to prove

You told me things were too hard
You had to much stuff on your mind
