The bravest soul in the mirror

by Lyn Aribaca   Nov 9, 2021

People pushed you down.
They are laughing but you aren’t the clown.
They’re yelling,
and, you almost drown
They’re telling,
you shouldn’t be here around.
You have been so lost
But you know where you’ve been
Crossroads, narrow roads!
You know your goal is real.
You’ve been attacked by those people
You thought,
You knew them all.
They’re shaking you until you fall
But, what should keep you strong?
The soul you saw in the mirror.
With the bravest eyes of a warrior,
Lips are fearless,
Mind that keeps you the best
And the heart that makes you the truest.
There's no such thing as life standards
You have your own feet to walk
It's not their roads you are taking
but your own way to stay close
Do not look back and sideways
It's not where you will go
Do not listen to the noise they're throwing
Focus on your goal
