Weaver

The spider wove a world together
Spun in tales of old
Pieced together storylines
Then let it all unfold

Watched the magic glisten there
Like stars hung up in space
Then hung it up to dry to show
Designs as fine as lace

Rested in its handiwork
That solitary world
The woven world the spider mended
Round the willow curled
