Introduction

by BOB GALLO   Dec 6, 2021

Forever forlorn
on a jiffy thorn
I have been me,
a jailor
and a jailee,
a hanging judge and he
who is penned by the
magistrate’s decree.

I am the beginning and the end
when the time succession would bend,
where the slit of time would mend.

I am me and all the others.
I am the Abel and the Cain brothers.

Togetherness seizes me
for “us,”
there is no more a fecund tree,

with no love, time is only
a point of view.
it leaves me lonesome and blue,

Yin and yang have
no head and toe
if they would role
and go.
