Fear Fighter

by Baby Rainbow   Dec 22, 2021

Utter terror tore through her body like a steam train,
when she woke up and opened her eyes,
her deepest fear staring her in the face.

When fear takes over,
so does your instincts of survival,
you freeze, and do not breathe,
you feel like your heart stops beating
and your last few breaths
will only be used for emergency.

Part of him was like a lion exposing its teeth,
you knew that his power was everything,
and no way were you strong enough
to even contemplate walking away,
even though you know
someone has to stand up to him
or he will probably get away with it for life.

Sometimes I have no idea what I am doing,
but I do know that I survived.

Some people think I've given up on justice
but I will never stop fighting with fire,
not until I get what is mine.
