Oedipus

by BOB GALLO   Dec 31, 2021

Not the evidence,
but the avoidance of,
the Olympus prophecy
turned into
his fate.

His doom
was running away
from his fate:
A tragic irony! (* *

The more he fled from his fate,
the more fate
narrowed his routes,
the more scarce became the distance of
his doom.

Not the evidence,
but fleeing from
the evidence of,
the Olympus prophecy
made it unfold.

~~

**) Meant the literal mining of the phrase “ The tragic irony” not the theatrical one.
