I dont like it

I don't like it when people say I'm too young
too young to do anything
anything at all
i just want one person who says i am never too small

i don't like it when people come up to me and say
hey kid your too small
when they say that i always get sad
but from some reason last time i got mad

maybe I'm growing
starting to be mature
soon i wont be little
i just have that feeling

I'm reading
I'm writing
I'm talking
I'm walking

those are signs of getting older
right now I'm 10
but will grow much more
and when that day comes
i will know that i am mature
