Existence in essence
"Essential" until it's inconvenient
A pay raise for the underpaid
Pushed against by -those-
It wouldn't affect

This struggle for survival
Favors those with strength
Strength these days
Just means being
Born with "means"

Without the means,
The struggle seems
So futile,
The effort given
Isn't worth the "exchange"

No one should have to give up their lives,
their time- just to survive
