If you’re not in my arms, you’re too far

by Guilty By Design   Jan 4, 2023

Late at night I ask myself stupid little things like
Who’s gonna air up your tires when they’re running low?
And who’s gonna build that dresser you have no space for?
I always thought this city was a second home
Until you packed up everything and everyone I ever cared about
Who knew hearts break with a tank full of gas and an open road.

I like this, I feel and felt what are saying. Read some your others. You seem to be like myself, broken and abandoned by the one you love. You expressed so plain and yet beautiful and true.
