When The Moon Landed In Your Eyes

by Golden AnGel Rhapsodist   Feb 2, 2023

I can still remember that summer time,
Unbelievably, you can make those pair shine.

Even ages gone by, I can still recognize,
When the moon landed in your eyes.

As you made all the stars follow you,
Like a comet,  you made me fall too.

How remarkable, the way you looked at me in the crowd,
You made me feel like I am walking in the clouds.

Your eyes can speak a thousand languages,
By degrees, you uncast my heart's bandages.

You can dismantle my armour with just one glance,
Whatever power you possess,  that is so advance.

I am the fair maiden you saved in distress,
You are my knight even without a shiny  dress.

You can take me to a place that I don't understand.
With your eyes where you can make the moon land.

Hi Gel, yes love is a powerful thing and I think your poem best sums up the feelings which surround it all. I love your title and the closing line, a perfect fitting phrase to your thoughts...
