What I Want

by Lost in Love   Jul 15, 2004

I use to want
All these expensive things
BMW’s, big houses, and jet skis
Gold watches and platinum rings

But things have changed
Since I met you
There are more better things
That I want to pursue

Like a happy family
With one boy and girl
For them to have someone there
That cares for them more than the world

A girl like you to be my wife
That I can take care of
Cherish, Honor, and Protect
And give to her all of my love

I’ve wanted to have a life
Full of happy memories
Where we could walk every stepping stone
Hand in hand just you and me

A life fit just for us
And our two kids
To some it may not be perfect or spectacular
But it is to me it’s the life I want to live
