A lesson Learnt

I knew it was too good to be true,
That I will left with all this to rue,

I really thought that how can somebody be so fake,
But love wasn’t the thing she was looking to take,

The vibes she sold the connection she raved,
It was nothing but all so that I be enslaved,

Those nights in silence as she said our souls chatter,
It was nothing but fakeness and lies all so I flatter,

I was completely sold in her idea of souls & connection,
I felt it was genuine but she was the devil’s reflection,

She played me and my feelings and I was totally in love,
Little did I know she was selfish and give me the shove,

I got ill I was fighting for my life but she showed no respite,
No mercy no love as I cried & looked for her face to be in sight,

She continued to play mind games to make me run after her,
To make me hurt and damage my soul and kept me in a blur,

But then a bolt from the blue and God revealed her true face,
And it was more than enough for me to solve this curious case,

An Imposter a lair a con artist who destroyed many souls in the past,
With me she came up against a man who taught her a lesson that would last.
