Is it despair, perhaps?

Is there still time for a fresh start?
What's driving this downward spiral?
Am I tethered by fear of what lies ahead,
Or am I simply too timorous to bid the past adieu?

Please, share with me, for I wish to understand,
Share with me, as I seek to let go,
Help me, for I'm gripped by fear.

I feel like life is slipping away,
I might fade into obscurity...
I desperately need someone to rescue me.
Help! I might lose control.

    At first I thought it was something of a new page, a new chapter in life. It is true, we get challenged and unsure of what's going to happen next but I'm proud of you for trying out new things you'll get there soon enough hold strong ??
