I Am Ice

by Baby Rainbow   Mar 21, 2024

The silence of your denial is laughable,
perhaps you are a little nervous
that your lies have no protection
since my silent limitations
finally grew a voice.

You thought your demons screwed me up so much
that I would never escape your web,
but the uninvited consequences that you left,
were turning me so raw inside,
that I became colder and sharper than ice.

And I bet you were not expecting that,
when you tried to capture me
as your personal lab rat.
