Milkweed

This poem will be with speed,
Because it's 12:30, sleep I need;
But thinking about May 26, 2025, I can read,
That it's the fake news, and a lot of mislead.

But here we go again, the Blue cheerlead,
To nonsense, and Republican impede;
Smiling like a Joker, just an inbreed,
Spouting "truths" with a nosebleed.

I'm feeling Patriotic, Trump-strong guaranteed,
And the "Sanctuary Cities" are about to bulldozed in a righteous stampede;
You can't accept the liberal olive branch, and it's mysterious seed,
And the thought of unity is as tasteful as biting into that milkweed.

Note: For reference milkweed is actually poisonous.
