Pilgrims of Solitude

by BOB GALLO   Jun 30, 2025

The hours—
they are pilgrims of solitude,
moving through the endless crowd
of travelers—
boarding, departing,
endlessly.

Like parallel lines,
like the rails of this train,
like the trains themselves—
always going,
never arriving,
and when they do,
they begin again.
