Kindness is a rare commodity,
even though it’s capitalized
on the labels of fake smiles.
Caring is just for gain.
God is a commodity of reward,
the bargain of redemption.
Each religion sells salvation:
salvation for sale.
But the greatest salvation
is already gone from the shelf:
Your redemption is already paid for.
God loves you so much
that He has forgiven all your crimes—
those you’ve committed
and those you might commit,
without a price.
But if you try to buy it,
there is no return.
You become
the son of perdition.
You are condemned to eternity,
not by God,
but by the market.
And no one can sell your soul again.
Religions: the marketplace
where God remains
a rare commodity.
