I lost my way once.
Searching an endless desert.
To find hope, to find peace.
But only found solitude.

Strangers stop and share there story
But none stayed.
Some may come back now and then.
But still alone I stand.

Then he stopped.
So handsome and a voice of many.
He attracted other kind souls.
His kindness shun brightly

Then another, a girl with a kind heart
Shining just as bright.
Always bringing a smile along.

We sit around chatting for hours.
Sharing our tales and welcoming others.
There was peace.
I felt accepted.

Im so grateful to them just being present.
My heart dosent feel so alone anymore.

Finding this friendship has changed my world.
Desert sands dont seem so lonely anymore.
The desert turned into an oasis.
Of treasured memories.

And I couldn't thank them enough for standing there with me.
