Depression is a Choice

Sadness is guaranteed,
Everyone gets a slice,
But depression is a choice.
It is just prolonged sadness.
You have to deliberately pull yourself out of the dark pit.
Do it with grit!
It may seem like a monster,
Yet it is smaller than a geyser,
Because it is in your mind.
Override it!
