River

by Synful   Apr 14, 2026

She flows like a river -
Both soft and steady, rough and choppy,
With coolness that arouses the soul to shiver,
And a warmth that is benevolence embodied.

Rocks, weathered by time and trials of passersby,
Decorate her body with armored radiance -
Scars, stories, to be heard by understanding ears who do not pry,
But wait for her trust in silent obedience.

Aquatic life waltzes throughout her being
As they splash her calm aquamarine hues in vibrant colors,
Her siren songs caressing the mind with ethereal peace
And an eternity of mysteries to be discovered.

Leaves fall into her as they yearn for her watery embrace
While flowers line her bed in a beautious sight,
Dancing through a mild, stray breeze
Blooming amongst her chaotic delight.

She is a depthless river,
One that endlessly glitters.
